I have been running Windows 10 Insider on my Asus Eee PC 1000H since build 10130. All hardware drivers were automatically installed and worked properly except for the keyboard shortcuts to control the system volume using the Fn and F10, F11 and F12 keys.
Asus 1000h Drivers
I spent many hours trying to trick Windows 10 into installing the special keyboard drivers from Asus. I tried compatibility mode, run as Administrator, newer versions made for later model of Asus netbook but nothing worked. The installation would perform halfway and then stop and auto roll back.
Last night, I stumbled across the solution and the answer was so very simple. Use the Windows 7 drivers from Asus Eee PC 1000HE. The two machines are similar enough that the driver worked flawlessly.
Simply extract the archive in the link below, right click and Run as Administrator the Exe file found in the Win7 and the Hotkey Service folders. Restart the computer as required and enjoy a much smoother running Windows 10.
